Who We Are
NadeauSDM brings together the expertise of NadeauSC (a specialized construction equipment distributor) and SDM Consultants (a structural engineering firm).
Together, we contribute to the strength of infrastructure by delivering creative temporary works engineering, tailored to the needs of construction companies and contractors.
Most engineering firms design around a single equipment brand. Most distributors sell without designing. Bringing the two together changes three concrete things: we can combine brands within one assembly, draw the part the catalogue does not offer, and deliver to site what we have just designed. That is also where our own products come from — the Nadeau bracket, WallFlex, Dekflex — born of needs nothing else covered.
Two offices: Lévis for the Québec City and Chaudière-Appalaches region, Saint-Hubert for Montréal and its surroundings.
1982
Daniel Nadeau begins his career in construction products with Produits et Services du Québec (PSC).
1989
Daniel Nadeau opens the Aluma System branch in Québec City.
2002
Daniel Nadeau is recruited by Peri and opens the Laval branch.
2007
The Nadeau brand is born.
2010
Daniel and Simon Nadeau found Nadeau Spécialités de Construction (NadeauSC).
2015
Dominic Michaud founds SDM Consultants.
2016
Dominic Michaud and Simon Nadeau see the potential and partner to form SDM Consultants SENC.
2019
Simon Nadeau succeeds to the presidency of NadeauSC.
2020
The complementarity between NadeauSC and SDM Consultants becomes clear through the success of several mandates on the REM project.
2021
The NadeauSDM group is established.
